Open in Explorer from ArcCatalog
It’s bugged me for years that in ArcCatalog there’s no “open this in Explorer” feature. Today I stumbled across a solution that doesn’t involve coding a your own button:
- Add “lnk” link files to Catalog >> Options >> File Types.
- Then create a folder shortcut in any places where you commonly need to open Explorer.
- (The default startup workspace is convenient)
