  • This is known issue with v9 prior to service pack 2, apply sp2 or sp3. ESRI:27752 and ESRI:20294
  • Clip to the dataframe, ESRI:28603 (won't work if your dataframe is rotated as the clipping happens prior to the rotation)
  • Uncheck "clip to graphics extent"
  • Free up more space on your C: drive; run the disk space wizard; delete files in the %TEMP% and %TMP% directories
  • Reduce the print quality setting
  • Lower the DPI
  • Reduce map complexity (use less transparencies, avoid symbol fills, buffers, etc.)
